The Friends' Garden Project

This is an exciting new project. Working with EBC and local groups, the Friends are looking to develop and plant out the garden area around the chapels.

We hope to include different types of plants and flowers, in particular those that have a symbolic meaning. We will be using bulbs, perennials, flowers, bushes and shrubs. Please watch this space as we will be asking for donations of plants etc at particular times of the year.

For people who attend a grave here in the cemetery if you would like to donate a plant that has sentimental value for planting in the garden area,  please contact the friends group to discuss.

We are currently asking for plant donations of:

  • Any spring-flowering bulbs you no longer want, in particular miniature daffodils, crocuses, snowdrops.

If you feel you can offer support in any other way to this project, please get in touch - there is much to do!
